Business Certificates of Deposit

Certificates of deposit are available in Maturities ranging from 30 days to 60 months. Interest rates are determined and set by bank management, and are subject to change without notice. The daily balance method is used to calculate interest.

Limitations: A deposit of $500 or more is required to open a certificate of deposit. You may elect to have your interest paid to you either by check, deposited into another account, or added compounded into the principal of the certificate. The funds in a certificate of deposit are not subject to withdrawal prior to maturity, and if they are a penalty is imposed which will lower the amount of interest earned and in some instances may negatively impact principal.
